The king cobra is famous in the snake world for a few different reasons. The first is that it is the most venomous snake in the world. The second is that it is monstrously long, stretching over 19 feet in length. The third, however, is that it is arguably the best parent in the snake world. King cobras are the only snake that builds a nest for their eggs. These nests are not just to support and shelter the eggs, but actually work as mini incubators. The king cobra pushes together leaves and sticks into a makeshift compost pile. As the material breaks down, it heats the eggs.
