The manchineel tree is nicknamed the "Tree of Death"

When you first look at it, the Manchineel tree looks pretty beautiful, but once you learn about its dangers, you’re going to want to leave a healthy distance between yourself and the tree. The tree is native to parts of Florida, the Caribbean, Central America, and the Bahamas, and it can kill you in a variety of ways. Its sap oozes out from its bark and contains powerful irritants. Simply standing under one while it is raining is enough to cause skin blistering, and eating its fruit is often fatal.
