The tallest peak in North America is Denali, Alaska

The highest mountain peak in all of North America is Denali (also known as Mount McKinley). It has a summit elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. It follows Mount Everest and Aconcagua as the third most isolated peak in the world. The first time Denali was ever climbed successfully was June 7, 1913 by a group of four brave climbers named Hudson Stuck, Harry Karstens, Walter Harper and Robert Tatum.
