Bowling pins need to tip over just 7.5 degrees to fall down

Despite what it may feel like when you miss all the pins for the fourth straight time at the bowling alley, bowling pins were actually made to fall over. Due to the small surface area on the bottom of the pin and the curved sides at the bottom, a pin only needs to tip a mere 7.5 degrees in order to fall over. Next time you are bowling, think of this fact and it may help you knock more pins down!
