You breathe harder while typing

Ever feel like you are sitting around on your computer and not getting enough exercise? Well, it turns out that typing is a form of exercise, so give yourself a pat on the back. Studies have found that your breathing rate increases while typing, which is a common sign of physical exertion. Your breathing rate is lowest when you are at rest, with the average adult breathing approximately 12-20 times per minute. As soon as you start doing any form of exercise, your muscles require more oxygen to function, and your breathing rate increases.
