When the moon is directly above you, you weigh slightly less

Next time you want to weigh yourself, simply wait for the moon to be directly over you and then give yourself a big pat on the back for that weight you lost! It is true, when the moon is directly over you, you weigh slightly less. This is due to the moon’s gravity, as it slightly pulls you upwards. Of course, the Earth’s gravity is many magnitudes stronger, and therefore you do not even notice, but it makes a slight difference.
