The Earth has more trees than there are stars in the Milky Way galaxy

While it is true that forests are succumbing to pollution and human forestry, there are still quite a few trees left on the planet! About 3 trillion, to be exact. That means there are more trees on Earth than there are stars in the entire Milky Way, which is the galaxy we live in. With 3 trillion trees on Earth, there are about 420 trees per person alive. Russia has the most trees, with approximately 640 billion. The United States of America comes in second, with 230 billion.
