It is impossible to keep your eyes open while sneezing

No matter how hard you try, you cannot force your eyes to stay open during a sneeze. This is due to the fact that your body wants to protect your eyes at all costs, which means you have no control over closing your eyes when something hits you in your face or when you feel a sneeze coming on. Scientists believe that we close our eyes when we sneeze to protect them from the particles that come out of our nose.
