A quarter of the bones in your body are found in your feet

The human body has a total of 206 bones found within it. While it may seem likely that the highest number of bones would be found in the biggest, most important parts of the body, such as the torso and the head, this could not be further from the truth. Each human foot contains 26 bones, meaning that there are a total of 52 bones in the feet, accounting for more than a quarter of the total bones in the body. As well as 52 bones, the feet also contains 30 joints and over 100 ligaments.
