We hate to break it to you, but white chocolate… actually is not chocolate at all. White chocolate is made up of a mix of sugar, cocoa butter, milk products, vanilla, and a substance called lecithin, which is basically a fat. Notice something missing from that list? While white chocolate does contain cocoa butter, it would need to contain chocolate solids to be considered an actual chocolate, which it does not. Still, if it tastes like chocolate and has the word ‘chocolate’ in its name, it must be good!
