Wand school was obligatory for several of the cast members of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an off-shoot of the popular Harry Potter film franchise. In it, the main character Newt Scamander must hunt magical creatures and duel with the deadly Grindlewald. Almost all of the actors in the series were forced to take part in “wand school”, where they learned how to properly make the motions required to cast spells. One notable member, Jude Law, who played a young Albus Dumbledore, was exempt, as he already had the look and feel of casting spells down.
