An episode of Peppa Pig was pulled from Australian television for teaching children not to fear spiders

Peppa Pig is just a harmless children’s show, right? Well, actually, it was once unaired and a particular episode was banned from ever being broadcast in Australia. The episode in question taught kids to not be afraid of spiders. In many places in the world, including most of North America, this is a good thing to teach as most spiders are not dangerous and help the ecosystem. However, Australia is home to a litany of dangerous spiders that could kill children with a single bite, and it was deemed too dangerous to show.
