The inventor of the Pringles can had his ashes buried in one

Fredric J Baur, the inventor of the famous cylindrical Pringles potato chip packaging system, was so proud of his invention that he insisted that when he died he would be cremated and buried in a Pringles can. He died May 4, 2008, at the age of 89 years old and his family stayed true to his wish, burying his ashes in a Pringles can so that he could live out his afterlife in his proudest invention.
