Starbucks uses round tables so customers feel less alone

Starbucks does nothing by accident. Everything that Starbucks does, from the way they greet you, to the way the coffee tastes, to the way their shops are set up, has a purpose. Usually, that purpose is to make you feel welcome and invited, as that will make you more open to going back and buying more coffee! Even the small, circular tables that you often see at Starbucks have a reason. They are made circular so that you feel less alone in the coffee shop, which increases the feeling of community for buyers.
