Queen Elizabeth II has had over 30 corgis in her lifetime

Well, we can definitely conclude that Queen Elizabeth is a dog person. The matriarch of the British royal family has owned over 30 corgis as pets in her life, Pembroke Welsh Corgis to be exact. She has owned them for so long that the lineage of corgis has become an official royal clan, spanning 87 years of the Queen’s life. She first got one when she was only eight years old, and since then has had a minimum of one of the corgis from the same family.
