In Queensland, Australia, it's illegal to own a pet rabbit unless you're a magician

One thing that everyone knows about rabbits is that they reproduce like crazy. Well, due to ecological damage stemming from people buying rabbits, letting them reproduce, and then releasing the offspring into the wild, Queensland, Australia, decided to try a novel approach to stopping the army of rabbits. The city made it illegal to buy or own rabbits unless you have one specific occupation. If you are a magician who can pull a rabbit from a hat, you are allowed to own the rabbit. If you want to simply own the rabbit as a pet, then you're out of luck.
