Aren’t we lucky that we now live in a world of free choice? Only 100 years ago, if a woman had short hair, people thought that she was cheating on her husband. There was no real scientific explanation to this, just the belief that women with short hair were promiscuous and not likely to stay faithful in their marriage. Since that time, society has become much more accepting of women with short hair, and it is not even looked at twice when seen nowadays.
