Beethoven never knew how to multiply or divide

Ludwig van Beethoven is considered to be one of the greatest composers and artists in musical history. Beethoven attended a Latin school called Tirocinium where he only learned addition and never multiplication or division. At one point when he needed to multiply 62 by 50, his solution was to write 62 down 50 times and then add them all up. Now thats commitment!
