Unlike almost every other animal in the entire animal kingdom, Goats do not have oval pupils. While their eyes are still round, the pupils found within a goat’s eyeballs are actually rectangular. Goats are herbivores through and through, and while circular pupils might help them coordinate distance better, their broad rectangular pupils allow them to see potential predators approaching from a wider periphery.
