It is estimated that around 1 million people in the United States have named their dog as the primary beneficiary in their will

We knew dog lovers were crazy about their pets but this is more affection than some parents show their children. It is estimated that about 1 million dogs are stipulated to be the primary beneficiary in their guardian's will when they die. We can only imagine how surprised their children and family will be at the reading of the will. In their defense, the love between a person and their dog is very real. Dogs use the same parts of their brain that humans do and have the ability to recognize emotion in human sounds as well as reciprocate emotions back to their best friend. The evolving relationships between people and their pets is causing many to treat their dogs like family, even when it comes to inheritance. All we can say is that Jeff Bezos' dog Kamala is one lucky pup!
