A tiger’s night vision is six times better than a human’s

Tigers must eat a lot of carrots because their eyesight is second to none. Mostly nocturnal predators, Tigers hunt their prey after the sun goes down and their prey gets sleepy, meaning that the tiger needs great night vision in order to successfully take down their meal. Humans do not need nearly as good of night vision, since we are rarely out hunting and our fridge has a light in it for when it gets dark. While tigers may have better vision in the dark, humans can taste their food a lot better, with over 30x the number of taste buds of tigers.
